One of the simplest ways to transform an event space is by changing the seating from the standard ‘wedding chairs,’ to seating that truly enhances the décor.
Some fun examples that have been catching my eye lately;
These Louis "Ghost" chairs create a perfect modern-meets-antique look and allow for endless customization with cushions, name cards - but are stunning on their own. Make sure that linens reach the floor or go all-out mod with Lucite tables and bright pops of color to really wow guests. We've moved! Please join us at: Ariel Yve Design

Ariel Yve Design's First Inspiration to Reality Shoot
I'm finally off to Cayman Islands for Engage 10! I've been waiting for this event for what seems like FOREVER. I can hardly wait! Colin Cowie, Sylvia Weinstock and Darcy Miller are just a few of the dozens of power players who are set to present at this exclusive industry summit.
Anyway, I know I've been away for a bit, but I've been working on tons of cool projects lately. One of which was a fabulous Inspiration to Reality shoot that I'd designed this past weekend. Those of you in the industry who know me, knows that I say inspiration shoots are for those who have nothing better to do. I still mostly stand by that statement, but this shoot was inspired by an entirely new trend that I've been wanting to share with brides....I just had to do it. You will soon find out what this new trend is : )

Birthday TV Show Casting Opportinities
Continuing my birthday theme this week, within the past few days, I've been contacted by 3 different TV producers who are looking to cast fabulous, chic, unique, outrageous or just plain over the top parties for 3 different TV shows.
One of which is for MTV's "My Super Sweet," which will air in the UK, Dubai throughout Europe as well as a number of other countries. Their looking to feature amazing birthday parties taking place in the US for people ranging in age from 16-24 years old. Another one of the shows that I was contacted for was exclusively for kids birthday parties. The final show is a show looking to cast moms with big personalities who are throwing big (non-wedding) parties of any kind for their kid(s) (any age is OK).

Napa Wedding Venue: Auberge du Soleil
Ariel Yve Design now an official Little Black Book member of Style Me Pretty!
I am honored to have the opportunity to be Ariel's Northern California assistant.
Event Specialist and today's "featured blogger". Wine Country Weddings have become more and more popular. Not that this is a surprise, given how incredibly beautiful the area is and how many gorgeous venues there are. One of my absolute favorite venues, Auberge du Soleil captures the area's most majestic views, refined service, and fine wine country cuisine.
In honor of our new Napa-Sonoma Listing, I've asked Sara, my fabulous Northern California Event Specialist to do a blog post about one of her favorite wedding venues in Napa.

Friday Flowers: Baby's Breath
Yay! It's Friday and time for a new Friday Flowers post.
Couples are finally beginning to spend again, but budgets are still definitely tight. Thankfully, with an open mind and a bit of creativity, a bride-to-be can have her cake and eat it too (figuratively speaking of course).
Most of the brides that I meet with these days still have dreams of grandeur, which often include the use of tall lush topiary arrangements. As you know, these dramatic centerpieces aren't cheap.

E-session- Kristen and Ivan
Here's a gorgeous engagement session shot by the uber talented Chris and Erinn Austin of White Haute Photography, of my even more gorgeous clients, Kristen and Ivan. This couple is so fun and in love. I absolutely adore these two!
Anyway, Kristen hired me for her wedding this Fall in Northern California after seeing my work at her best friend's wedding last fall in Santa Barbara.

Weekend Musings
Ah...I love spending lazy weekends at home. Though I absolutely adore working weddings on the weekends, but I love nothing more than to spend quality time with my hubby and puppy (he's really 4, but little enough to be a baby).
Yesterday, I did a bit of spring cleaning and Joey cleaned up our entire garden (HUGE job!). I always feel so much lighter and free to dream when my surroundings are clean and uncluttered...don't you?
Anyway, today with my new liberated perspective, I've been perusing the Internet for some design inspiration for a few of my upcoming interior design projects that I'm working on. Here are a few of my favorites via http://www.decorpad.com/:

Wednesday Inspiration: Fuchsia Fever
Happy hump day!
I'm so excited to share today's post with you. These images are from a gorgeous fuchsia, purple and silver wedding that I'd planned/designed a few months back at the Four Seasons Biltmore, in their newly renovated La Pacifica Ballroom (Coral Casino). The bride loved fuchsia, the groom loved purple and both loved how the combo looked when paired together. A dynamic duo indeed.

Wednesday Inspiration: Margaret Braun
As I scour the Internet for inspiration for today's wedding cake and event design meetings, a little voice keeps telling me...don't forget to blog. In the spirit of the creative process, I figure, why not do both at the same time? We've moved! Please visit Ariel Yve Design to finish reading this post.

Wednesday Inspiration: Pastel Valentine's Day
I've been seeing loads of red Valentine's Day decor (which I love), but I wanted to mix it up and create a softer, more romantic V-day inspiration board this week.
