Deb and Chris Get Married

This weekend, I'm assisting with fundraising aspect of a fabulously fun charity event.  It's going to be a musical, wedding and fundraiser all wrapped up into one insanely awesome evening.
We've moved! Please join us at Ariel Yve Design

Here's the story:

In the Summer of 2006, Chris proposed to Deb. They set a date for the following year, but soon after, were hired as Artistic Directors for Theater 150 and since then, that and several subsequent wedding dates have been trampled under the mighty roughshod feet of their beloved non-profit.

Finally, they decided that if they couldn’t get married BECAUSE of the theater, then they would get married FOR the theater. Being of advanced nuptial age, and having acquired all of the household necessities, they realized that if they asked for theater donations instead of wedding gifts, in one fell swoop they could aid the theater and end up married. And so was born the unholy marriage of a marriage, a fundraiser and a full-length musical which may or may not feature one or more of the following: zip lines, dancing Jell-O, hordes of Mongol warriors, bat swarms and more kale than you can shake a stick at.

A $50 donation gets you into the musical wedding at Libbey Bowl. An additional $50 donation will gain you entrance to the home of Tom and Cathryn Krause for the prudently opulent post-wedding reception with food, drinks and dancing (RSVP by May 5th). In addition, there are a ton of fun and ridiculous sponsorship and naming opportunities – Think NASCAR wedding! Get your name on an actor, on the wedding train, on Chris’ tux. Or how about on Deb’s garter? (Um… Ok). Just about anything you can think of can be plastered with your name, logo or message.

A NASCAR theme, with swarming bats and hording Mongol warriors....Yeah, I think after this one it'll be safe to say that I've done it all  : )
