Ariel's Landscaping Challenge

Between client meetings, I enjoyed a fabulous weekend at home.
I spent Sunday afternoon in my rose garden picking dozens of blush, ivory and hot pink blooms...dreaming about the possibilities for landscaping our lower garden. Our yard is an almost fully landscaped 1/3 of an acre, complete with a huge lawn, boxwoods, roses, citrus trees and even a couple of enormous redwoods.
We've moved! Please join us at Ariel Yve Design

As you might have noticed, I said, it is ALMOST fully landscaped. The only area left to landscape is our lower garden. In the center is a lovely three tiered water fountain, but not much else. I've been toying with the idea of planing a large herb garden with a dozen or two iceberg rose bushes. The area is about 1,500 square feet, which in reality is a bit too large for an herb garden.

What would you do with a 25x60 area of blank yard space?

The winner with the idea, will win a fabulous veil from Veiled Beauty. The deadline for your idea submission will be 5/1/10 at midnight (PST). May the best (wo)man win : )

A blog post from Sara Holley, our fabulously talented Northern California Event Specialist.
Here's a little hint, it's going to be about one of Napa's most beautiful wedding venues.
