With that said, this year was by not means easy. For me, 2010 started off with the loss of the love of my life (Corky), and a crushed event industry due the global economic crisis. Fewer couples are getting married and even fewer companies are having parties. However, I believe change is the catalyst for greatness, and many great things filled my life this year. If you're one of my Facebook fans, you probably know that I was recently named the YOUNGEST MASTER BRIDAL CONSULTANT in the WORLD!!!!!

Planners from all over the world presented for their Masters designation this year, most of whom didn't make it (including a number of esteemed TV wedding planners). It feels go good to achieve my goal after so many years of hard work.
The week before I flew to Phoenix to present for my Masters, I had the distinct honor of meeting the worlds greatest racehorse, Zenyatta. Her calm, statuesque presence was a sight to behold...so cute!
The day after my Masters announcement, I had the chance to meet another celebrity. Mr. My Fair Wedding, David Tutera. He's so down to earth and funny. I found his portfolio presentation and candor refreshing.
He truly deserves all of the success in his life.
On the media front this year, I got to style fun photo shoots for Style Me Pretty, Brides Magazine and had my work featured twice in The Knot Magazine, had newspaper articles written about me and my planning advice aired on WE TVs Get Married. I'm a really private person, but love sharing my passion for weddings and events. A big thanks to all of the producers and editors who gave me a chance this year and scheduled my features for next year!

On the fuzzy front this year, I became a first time foal mama to a little Thoroughbred filly named Angie, and mama to a newly rescued Welsh Terrier cross puppy named Ralphie.
Princeton, my 5 year old Jack Russell is delighted to have two new younger siblings (Ralphie's games have given little Princeton a physique worthy of bronzing).
On the business front- I truly believe that I have the world's best clients....kind, visionary, generous and fun. In honor of each and every one of my special couples this year, I've donated $100 to a deserving and responsible local Animal Rescue. Thank you all for your support, great conversations, and referrals. Because of you (ALL of my wonderful clients), I've experienced more opportunities, fulfillment and inspiration than I've ever thought possible. I am one lucky girl!!!
Looking forward- Though I doubt that the recession will be over in 2011 (now technically a depression), I'm looking forward to a bunch of exquisite weddings, launching my new blog, diving head first into two larger than life projects, deepening and my relationships, and watching my furry babies grow up.
What are you looking forward to the next decade?
May 2011 be full of happiness, prosperity and peace for you and your family.
Happy New Year!!!!!!
